Kitchen
The kitchen area comprises oak painted units with granite work tops, and modern appliances including a gas fired range master, dishwasher, tall larder fridge/freezer and microwave.High quality crockery and cutlery is provided, together with a full range of cooking utensils.
Entrance
Entered through a grand oak door, the main living area of the cottage is a magnificent open space created from the original forge, measuring approx. 28 ft X 21 ft.
Dining room/Living area
There is an oak dining table seating 6, and, in the living area, 2 sofas around a carved stone fireplace with a wood burner.
There is a 32” TV with Freeview, and DVD player. WiFi is available. The stone floor has under floor heating.
Master Bedroom with ensuite
A pretty white painted metal bedstead with King size mattress. Painted ash bedside tables, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Central heating radiator. Wooden floor with rugs.
Beautiful, natural stone flooring and shower area with underfloor heating and heated towel rail. Modern white ensuite comprising shower with glass enclosure, low level WC and wash basin.
Utility Room
Sink with hardwood surround. Oak painted drawers and cupboards. Gas boiler for hot water and heating. Washing machine and separate tumble drier. Clothes drier, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board all provided.
A travel cot and high-chair are available on request.
Second Bedroom
A king-size bed which can be converted to two 2' 6" beds - ideal for families with younger children. Painted ash bedside tables, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Central heating radiator. Wooden floor with rugs.
Orchard & Paddock
Guests can wander through the orchard with several fruit trees, and the 2 acre paddock, home to Ossie and Bertie, the donkeys. This joins the village playing fields, and leads to attractive walks on adjoining farmland and woods.

Courtyard & Parking
Residents have a parking area on the gravel drive of The Close. The wood store provides a supply of logs, and access to a wheelie bin. An oak door gives access to the rear of the property where there is a delightful gravelled seating area for outside dining.
