Biddestone Holiday Cottage - Tourism Five Star Gold Award

Covid Statement

As owners of holiday properties, we recognise that we have a public health responsibility to ensure that any potential virus is removed to the best of our ability, for the safety of our guests. We have undertaken a formal risk assessment of our properties and have taken active steps to mitigate the risks.
We have undertaken the following precautionary actions:

  1. Your cottage is prepared by a professional cleaner who is masked & gloved, and wears a plastic disposable apron.
  2. All components of all cleaning products used comply to EN1276
  3. All common touch points e.g. light switches, bannisters, door handles, kettle handle etc. are disinfected between changeovers
  4. All bed linen, towels, bathmats and tea towels areĀ  laundered at 60 degrees, and all pillow and mattress protectors are changed between changeovers.
  5. We will need you to provide, names, telephone numbers and email addresses of everyone in the party, so that we can pass this onto the NHS if it is required for track and tracing. This information will not be used for any other purpose. This must be provided on the Booking Form.
  6. We expect our guests to practice social distancing as set out in government guidelines.
  7. If you suspect that you may be displaying signs of the Covid-19 virus while staying in our accommodation, please inform us via email: gill.stafford2306@me.com or telephone on 07946 534772. You must immediately self-isolate to minimise any risk of transmission, returning home if possible. If a guest cannot reasonably return home (for example because they are not well enough to travel or do not have the means to arrange transport), their circumstances should be discussed with an appropriate health care professional and, if necessary, the local authority. Guests should follow government guidance on dealing with possible or confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) infection.  All guests and our cleaning staff will be made aware of the situation with immediate effect. Unfortunately, if the guest cannot return home, the guest will be expected to pay for the accommodation at a pro rata rate until they areĀ  reasonably able to leave.

We are always happy to answer any questions or concerns that you may have.
