Originally a working forge, Anvil Cottage has been sympathetically restored to create a beautiful holiday home sleeping up to 4 guests in 5 star gold rated luxury.

Entering through a grand oak door, the main living area is a magnificent open space created from the original forge, featuring a carved stone fireplace containing a warming log burner.
With cosy sofas and under floor heating, it is the perfect place to relax, read a book, listen to your favourite music on the Bose sound system, or watch TV.
Dine in style
The open plan kitchen provides everything you need for relaxed evenings dining at home, from champagne flutes to Sophie Conran crockery. The French oak table, with leather dining chairs, seats 6 in comfort. A range with gas hob & electric oven, dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer will satisfy the most demanding cooks!

Master bedroom with ensuite
With a pretty white painted king size iron bed, and painted ash bedside tables, chest of drawers & wardrobe, this bedroom also benefits from an en suite walk in shower, hand basin and WC, with under floor heating & heated towel rail.
Family bedroom
With a king size divan bed, which can be split into 2 single beds, this bedroom is perfect for families with children, or for couples sharing a holiday together. Also with painted ash bedside tables, chest of drawers & wardrobe.
Family Bathroom
With a bath and integrated shower, hand basin and WC, together with under floor heating & heated towel rail, this is the perfect place for a soak after rambling in the nearby countryside.
Everything for an easy life
The well equipped utility room, with washing machine, tumble drier, vacuum cleaner, clothes drier, ironing board & iron, ensures that all life’s little problems are catered for when away from home. A travel cot and high chair are also available upon request.
An oak door to the rear of the cottage gives access to a delightful graveled area with teak garden furniture and a BBQ, so guests can relax and enjoy views of the garden while enjoying a morning coffee, or sipping that first cocktail of the evening. Up to 2 parking spots are available on the gravel drive.
